Description: MacOS Mojave is the latest version of Mac with new features. However, this update will run on Mac 2012 or later versions. If you are running MacOS 10.13.2 or earlier, you should be able to upgrade to the latest version of MacOS 10.14 from the App Store.

The only caveat downloading from the App Store is that it will only download the stub installer (web installer) which is very small in size. The actual Operating System will start installing upon running the stub installer.

Safari

Safari 12 now focuses on anti advertising techniques to provide you security to be tracked on the sites without your consent. The user settings of the Mac could be used to create a fingerprint but now Safari has made it difficult. Previously fingerprinting technique was used to create unique identifiers based on the Operating System. Therefore, cookies were replaced by this method and thus could be exploited to track the users. Now this has been secured.

Mac App Store

Mac App Store has been given a new look with new content and stories about the feature. Videos, articles and content has been provided to help you choose the best app. The discover tab can be used to find the latest apps.

Stacks

If you have a cluttered desktop and you keep on organizing it then in this update there is no need for that. Just go to the Finder menu bar, choose View -> Use Stacks. To see what’s in a stack, click it

Dark Mode

MacOS Mojave 10.14 provides the facility of changing the mode and appearance of your desktop and apps. You can now apply dark mode to the desktop as well as light one.

In order to change the appearance go to System Preferences –> General.

Connect your home devices

You can organize and control your home accessories using the Mac easy to use windows. You can control them via Siri or click accessory then click on Status and Notifications.

Finder and Voice Memos

Quick Look and Markup tools are combine in the feature of Finder. You can look Markup tools while using the Quick Look preview. Markup is used to edit PDFs and email attachments.

You can also make audio recordings, can set them as reminders or can use them in a podcast or any where. iCloud service can be used to access your audio clips from your iPhone on your Mac.

Continuity Camera

Now scanning feature is also available with Mac. Just scan any document or take a picture and you can see that on our Mac computer For this go to Pages, choose Insert -> Import from iPhone or iPad -> Take a Photo.

1. After downloading open DMG file.
2. Click on macOSUpd10.14.1.pkg icon
3. Follow install wizard
